C1.fi

C1.fi aims to distance it self from mainstream email service providers by:

How can I create my self a C1.fi account?

By filling in the sign-up form. Please find a “step by step” guidance video below:

All new accounts are entitled for a 30 day free trial period.

Message secrecy - How does that work?

When a new account is registered, C1.fi creates an individual cryptographic key pair for it. C1.fi will use the account specific public key to encrypt all serverside stored messages before these messages are written into our mass storage. This way the cleartext read access to message data on our servers is limited to the account holder sessions which makes message exchange between C1.fi accounts extremely well protected.

Interaction with third party email services?

When C1.fi sends or receives messages with a third party email services (for example: Gmail, iCloud, Yahoo etc.) the transportation uses standard SMTP protocol which doesn’t guarantee message secrecy. In this kind of cases, when secrecy is desired, we would recommend using PGP for encrypting the messages. One can of course use PGP also when exchanging messages between other C1.fi acconts as well. Our webmail app supports PGP too.

Client tracking?

No third party tracking mechanisms are present or used on our websites.

Respecting privacy and mode of earning

C1.fi is a paid service. This allows us to develop and maintain our service without the need of doing business on client data. Please find a link to our service prices below:
